Natalia Gourari is an experienced litigation attorney who, after having worked for major New York law firm, Debevoise & Plimpton, and a matrimonial Park Avenue boutique, Cohen, Goldstein & Silpe, LLP, decided to devote her practice primarily to family law.
She has represented celebrities and high net worth individuals in complex custody, visitation and child support proceedings. She is also an of counsel to several New York and international law firms which clients she consults on international divorces and child abduction matters.
Natalia is one of the most experienced Russian speaking attorneys in such matters as negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, contested and uncontested divorce actions, adoptions, and orders of protection.
Natalia began her legal education in the Moscow Institute of Foreign Affairs; she graduated New York University with the Economics major, with high honors, and completed her Juris Doctor degree with Cardozo School of Law, where she was a Vice President of the International Economics Society and received an award in Media Law & Society from the dean of the school.
Natalia was also an of counsel to the matrimonial unit of the New York Legal Assistance Group and also an editor of the National Moot Court Competition with the Association of the City Bar Association of New York from 2003 through 2005.
She is married and has three children.
